With a background in rock, a penchant for downtempo, both nostalgia and enthusiasm for hiphop and an unrelenting gameness for experimentation, Bacayne makes records that sound totally new but make you feel familiar at the same time.

A proud Dominican native, Bacayne is a great example of the cultural melding pot that is the island, sitting halfway between North and South America and with a great history of just getting it done and not taking no for an answer. If his debut album is any indicator, we have a lot to be excited about in the future.
