Inko Drops an EP! And Some Other Big News…

Tropical Offbeat
Finally, we get some love from our Norwegian export Inko. In his first EP for the label, we can hear some tunes that really describe the sound that has made him who he is. Whatever your opinion is, after listening to this EP we all have to agree on at least one thing: the man is unique. Glitchy, funky tunes that get ahead of themselves and then fall back with a real Caribbean swing to it, Inko shows you can do your own thing and still have it shake some asses. Even a guest appearance by the multi-talented DAM!BEER. Enjoy.

In other news, some good, some not so, our residency at Camden Parlour has been put on hold due to certain permission processes that are going underway. So that is on hold, for the time being. But on the good side of things, we’d like to present to you:

Yes, it’s what you think. We’ve already kicked off our own radioshow here in Santo Domingo. We are very happy to be outputting something to the airwaves regularly and widely as our own little grain of salt to the overall media. Every Saturday for 2 hours, hosts Cohoba & Ronald Kohn (with some serious support from n6el) get to do whatever and play whatever they want.
Yes, that’s right. For 2 hours every Saturday, from 9:00PM to 11:00PM, we get to rock out on Zulu Radio 88.5FM here in Santo Domingo. You’ll get little tidbits of info on the tracks you’re listening to, artist features, the classic track of the week, guest DJ sets, and anything else you can think of; maybe you’ll even get a serenade by the honey-voiced n6el. We guarantee a fun listen, and hey, you can also not only tune in online at Zulu Radio’s website, you can also see us in action via the webcam. Tune in. We’ll have our own little radio section with embedded stream/webcam player soon.
Meanwhile, give us a like.
Show time is in: UTC/GMT -4 hours
